Quality technician measuring an automotive part with a caliper

Service

Quality Inspection

Documented controls at every stage,
from incoming parts to shipment

We carry out documented visual, dimensional and functional checks against your drawings, specifications and acceptance criteria — at receiving, during production, at end of line and before shipment.

The challenge

Inspection at the four
key control points

Defects that go undetected travel down the line and reach your customer, where they cost far more to correct. Inspection is most effective where defects can be caught before they travel further.

What we provide: inspection organised around four control points, applying the checks that are relevant to your parts and to the agreed scope.

  1. Incoming inspection — supplier parts checked on receipt, before they reach your line.
  2. In-process inspection — critical characteristics monitored during production to detect drift early.
  3. Final inspection — finished parts checked against specification at the end of the line.
  4. Pre-shipment inspection — relevant requirements such as quantities, labelling and packaging checked before dispatch, according to the agreed scope.

Types of checks

Visual, dimensional
and functional checks

Checks are defined for each project from your documentation. Inspection means — gauges, measuring instruments, test fixtures or limit samples — are defined with you, and their calibration or validity status is checked before use.

  • Visual checks: appearance, surface defects, damage, contamination, marking
  • Dimensional checks with the measuring means specified for the part
  • Functional checks where applicable, using agreed test methods
  • Checks of labelling, packaging and quantities
  • Identification and segregation of non-conforming parts

Our process

Inspection in four clear steps

  1. 1Review requirements

    Drawings, specifications, defect
    criteria and quantities.

  2. 2Set up the inspection

    Instructions, inspection means
    and control points.

  3. 3Inspect and segregate

    Checks against the criteria;
    conforming and non-conforming
    parts kept apart.

  4. 4Report and follow up

    Traceable results and input
    for corrective actions.

Benefits

Inspection that protects
your production

  • Non-conforming parts detected before they travel further
  • Fewer defects reaching your customer
  • Clear data on defect types and trends
  • Resources adapted to project scope
  • Traceable records for inspected parts or lots, according to the agreed scope
  • A solid basis for corrective actions

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of parts can you inspect?

Industrial parts and components — metal, plastic, rubber, electronic or assembled — provided clear acceptance criteria and suitable inspection means are available. Feasibility is confirmed when we scope the need with you.

Which standards or criteria do you inspect against?

Your drawings, specifications, inspection instructions, limit samples and customer-specific requirements. We do not replace your acceptance criteria: we apply them consistently.

Can you inspect at our production site?

Inspection can be organised at your site, at a supplier’s facility or at your customer’s location, depending on where the parts are, the access conditions and the agreed scope.

Do you provide an inspection report?

Yes. Each intervention is documented: quantities checked, accepted and rejected, defect types and lot identification. Format and frequency are agreed with you.

How quickly can an inspection start?

Start-up depends on the scope, the location, the resources required, access to the parts and the availability of inspection criteria. A realistic start date is agreed with you when the need is scoped.
